Eligibility

Girl students of Bihar who pass Intermediate or graduation from a Bihar institution; graduation incentive is for unmarried girls

You apply only after your result is out. If your name is missing on the portal, your school / college must first forward your pass details.

How to apply — step by step

   Wait for the notice that applications are open (after your result).

   Open medhasoft.bihar.gov.in and choose the Kanya Utthan option for Inter or Graduation.

   Enter your roll number / registration number and pass year; your pass record is fetched automatically.

   Check the details shown, then enter your Aadhaar number and the bank account number / IFSC (the account must be in your name and Aadhaar-linked).

   Submit and take a print-out or note the acknowledgement number.

   If your name is not found, ask your school / college to forward your data, then try again.

   The incentive is paid directly to your bank account (DBT) after verification.

• Aadhaar card
• Bank passbook (Aadhaar-linked, in the girl's name)
• Mark sheet / pass certificate (Inter or graduation)
• Bihar residence proof
• Marriage-status declaration (for the graduation incentive, if asked)
• Mobile number linked to Aadhaar
