Bihar-resident SC / ST students studying after Class 10; family income limit as notified

SC / ST students apply on a separate portal from BC / EBC students. Check the latest instructions on the portal.

How to apply — step by step

   Open scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in and go to the student section.

   Read the instructions / FAQ for the current session.

   Click 'Student Registration' and register with your details; note the registration number and password you receive.

   Log in and fill in the application form completely (course, institute, bank and income details).

   Upload the required documents in the format shown.

   Finalise, take a print-out and submit it to your institute if the portal asks you to.

   Track verification and payment status by logging in; money is paid to your bank account (DBT).

Documents you will need

• Aadhaar card
• Passport-size photograph
• Bank passbook (Aadhaar-linked account in the student's name)
• Mark sheet of the last exam
• Bihar residence / domicile certificate
• Caste certificate (if applying for a category scheme)
• Income certificate (latest)
• Bonafide / admission proof and fee receipt from the institution
