Eligibility

OBC, EBC and De-notified Tribe students within the family-income limit set by the scheme

Some levels need an entrance test (NTA); others are based on marks. Check the current guidelines.

How to apply — step by step

   Check the current guidelines for your class on scholarships.gov.in.

   Complete the one-time registration on NSP (see the NSP guide).

   Log in and choose the PM YASASVI scheme for your class / course.

   Fill in the form; upload caste, income and marks documents.

   If an entrance test applies, register for it as per the notice.

   Final submit, print the form and note the application ID.

   Track verification and payment on the portal.

Documents you will need

• Aadhaar card
• Passport-size photograph
• Bank passbook (Aadhaar-linked account in the student's name)
• Mark sheet of the last exam
• Bihar residence / domicile certificate
• Caste certificate (if applying for a category scheme)
• Income certificate (latest)
• Bonafide / admission proof and fee receipt from the institution
